And thinking it a good time for me to get help to load my wood as I had wood at the same place I went along. I loaded the small wood in the box it coming up to the top of the box. Then I put 5 or 6 logs on top of one of the logs being pretty large it lay on the edge of the box and which we put the other logs on I had to chain them on to make them lay there until we got down where the Beebe Brothers unloaded there load of logs They wanted the chain to unload their loads with and I took the chain off of my wagon and let them have it. Then I drove my load 120 rods farther west to where I lived and when I went to unload my load not thinking about the log rolling off I stepped my right foot on the outside log and picking up a log tried to throw it off when the log that I stood my right foot on rolled off throwing me to the ground from the wagon and liting on my right side and 3 other logs rolled off and fell on top of me mashing my side badly causing me to spit and vomit blood and I think it is of a permanent character and not caused by visous habits. It laid me up about six months and do not think that I ever will get over it. Increase of Minor's Pension: Charlotte F.
