All birthdates are from Alfred Bruce Loop family record, presumably from a Bible. Notes of Herbert Enzo Loop: John Loop and his family remained in McKean Co. and Norry Loop took his family to Michigan. My father Alfred B. Loop son of Norry Loop stayed in Pennsylvania to be near his wife's people (Daniel Keyes and family) I, H. Enzo Loop, was born in McKean Co., Penn on April 24, 1881. My father Alfred B. Loop had been a Corporal in the Civil War. He left Penn. in 1889 to go to Michigan. There he joined the Norry Loop family and left for the Territory of Washington. A part of Norry Loop's boys, as did my father, took up homesteads under the then new law. I left Penn. with mymother and the five youngest brothers and sisters in 1898 to go on the homestead my father had proved up on.
