"The Loop Scoop" was a newsletter I published between 1984 and 1992 while researching and writing draft chapters for "The Loop Family in America" which I published in 1994. It was sent out to about 40 subscribers who were interested in the Loop family. The subscribers in turn sent me information to include in the newsletter. Keep in mind that much of the information in these newsletter issues was preliminary and contained errors. Some of the "Articles" and "Vital Data" you may find interesting and/or useful. I've listed the titles of the main articles in each issue below. Some issues had two or more articles. They may not all be listed. Also, many issues of the Loop Scoop also contained photographs and family group sheets. Most of the photos are contained in the chapters of this book, and the family group sheets can be found as "[notes]" links in the chapter text.
