From Stefan Hofmann: The parts I could decipher look like: "Das ??????? ist mir zu bechardet(?) und zu viel ?????? ich will nichts dar mit zu tun haben ============= so vil von mir anna maria lupp Michel ???? " the first ??????? seems to be the subject of it all. It's a pity that I can't read it, but it looks a bit like "atmißiei" and this does not make any sense to me. Even my Latin dictionary and my Lexicons could not give me an idea. The translation is somethng like: "The ?????? is too damaged(?) for me and too much ????? I don't have no concern with it ============== that's what I have to say anna maria lupp Michel ???? " Your assumption that it has something to do with a will sounds reasonably. The text seems to be a disclaimer. It looks like Anna Maria Lupp should care about something which she thinks is too much for her to cope with. That's why she wrote this document. The name under the snudged ink is not readable. The first character is an "a", and the last word seems to be "Lupp", but I don't know why it has been striked. I got an idea, though. Could it be that the original document contained lines one to three only, and that a(nton) Lupp subscribed? My idea is that the sentence "so vil von mir" and the subscription of anna maria lupp came later to confirm, that she thinks the same way about the subject as A(nton) Lupp did.
