    2.  Petition for the appointment of administrator, state of Michigan:
	The petition of Horace Hill who is of the age of 21 and upwards, of the
	county of Monroe, respectfully shows that William A. Loop, late of
	Summersfield in the said county of Monroe departed this life in said
	town of Summersfield, County of Monroe, on Tuesday the first day of
	June, 1858, leaving no last will and testament... That said deceased
	was ... and inhabitant of the said county... and that he was possessed
	of personal estate, ...in the county... and that the estimated value
	thereof is the sum of $300 ...  And your petitioner further showed
	that the names and residence of the heirs-at-law of said deceased
	... are as follows:  Sidney Loop of California and Calvin A. Loop
	of Grand Isle County, State of Vermont, both being the only brother
	and nearest of kin of said deceased now living ... and their wives
	whose christian names are unknown to your petitioner ... and your
	petitioner who is uncle and only relative of said deceased in this
	state, and this petitioner further states that he was requested by
	said deceased during his life to settle his business and has since
	been requested by letter from one of the said brothers of said
